Immunizations & WAWM Nursing Department

We have been advised by the West Allis Health Department to encourage your child(ren) to update their immunizations well in advance of school opening to avoid the late summer rush at immunization clinics.  We encourage you to obtain immunizations through your personal physician, clinic, or HMO if your insurance coverage includes routine immunizations.  Immunizations are also available through the local public health department in your community. 

For West Allis and West Milwaukee residents, immunization clinics are held every Wednesday from 8:30am to 12:30pm, and Thursday from 12:30pm to 4:00pm at the West Allis Health Department. No appointment is necessary and there is no cost. To accommodate working parents, evening immunization clinic hours are available. Call 414-302-8600 for an appointment.  Please be sure to bring your child’s immunization record with you. This is your opportunity to update your child’s immunizations before school starts in the fall!
