This course provides the opportunity to explore different career paths. Students will be provided the opportunity to develop skills needed to seek, obtain, and maintain employment. Topics will include a personal skill assessment, resume development, a job search, and the interview process. Documents will be prepared that will help a student in their scholarship search as well as their job search. Scholarship materials, which include a resume, will be developed or updated. Technical writing skills will be emphasized and students will learn how to write agendas, proposals, and other forms of business communication.
